Network, the organisation for women working in the Algarve, are delighted to report that their annual Christmas Fayre was once again the event of the season. We were privileged and excited to have Santa with us this year, and he will now become a regular and firm fixture, bringing pleasure for the children, and raising money for Castelo dos Sonhos.
This annual event attracted over 70 diverse stall holders, and there really was something for everyone. We had fashion flashes, jewellery, food, books, linen, furnishings, Tarot readings, pet products – to name but a few.
Thanks to everyone involved we were able to raise 1500 euros for our Charity of the Year, Riding for the Disabled Algarve.
The lovely venue of the Hotel Garbe provided as ever a great atmosphere, good food, and even a lovely pool for Santa to cool his feet after a hard day’s ho ho ho-ing!
