The Algarve Artists Society

At the October Meeting at the Hotel Garbe we talked about the forthcoming evening meeting at the Lagoa Art College. We discussed some different aspects of art, in particular the different methods of producing a piece of art. It was suggested that we could make a collage based on the outline of the African Continent for the above meeting.

We then judged the Still Life or Model Competition and Sally Dawson won with her painting of Wine and Glass as shown on the right.

At the next meeting at the Hotel Garbel on the 20th November we are arranging for a local artist to give a talk about her paintings.
