September Meeting at the Hotel Garbe
We all had the pleasure of listening to a talk given by Glyn Uzzell. He spoke about his career as an Artist, and the times he spent in the USA and the many years in Geneva. His talk included his involvement in making prints, and in the formation of a well Known Gallery in Geneva.We were shown some catalogues of his paintings and prints. He explained the way in which he is inspired to produce effects in his paintings and prints.
Obviously he is an artist of vast experience and we enjoyed the way in which he related this to us.
Before leaving he kindly judged the Design a Postcard Competition. There were three winners from the many entries. The winners were Ann Hopley, Helen Brockman and Jan Telfer.
